The History of Lodge Construction

The Early Days

Lodge Construction’s history began in the early 80’s when founder Donato Belperio started building boutique homes for new home buyers. His early work quickly became renowned for its quality construction and attention to the finest finishing touches.

Those key features have been the foundation to Lodge Construction & Building’s continual growth over the past three decades, into one of South Australia’s most respected builders.

“Years ago, we built about 15 to 20 houses per year. Today, we’re up to about 80 to 120 new homes a year … and we have expanded that line in the past four or five years,” Donato says the company’s growth.

Present Day

While still dedicated to the creation of new homes, today the group has expanded its knowledge and expertise into a wide range of other building projects.

This includes the development of larger scale projects, such as a Life Care complex for senior residents, and local government projects, like the recent development of the Gawler Community Centre.

Lodge Construction and Building also regularly takes on home and office renovations, extensions, and maintenance work.

The team now also houses it’s own KITCHEN SHOP, where it builds quality, custom-built cabinets. This has not only given Lodge an edge over its competition in the industry, but has, more importantly, added another level of convenience and expertise for its clients and their building needs.
